PRAYING IN PLACE 2024 (PIP 24)

2 Chronicles 7:14 ~ Romans 12:12

Throughout the YEAR 2024, we invite you to join Mt. Calvary on the 24th of each month, to set aside time to pray.

PASTOR’S 2024 PRAYER BURDEN

1. I Thessalonians 5:17 -Prioritize desire and opportunities to pray in MCBC.

2. Hebrews 10:25 – Return to in-person worship and study of the word of God. along with Internet opportunities for the infirmed and unavailable.

3. Deuteronomy 7:15 -Eradication of all communicable diseases and eliminate fear of gathering.

4. Malachi 3:10- Increase desire to tithe to the work of the Lord.

5. Matthew 28:19-20 -Use the LORD JESUS’ great commission as our church mission.

6. Acts 2:14-18,21- Receive a fresh infusion of the Spirit of God to accomplish said mission, activity, and growth of the Church.

7. Ephesians 4:1-16 Spiritual empowerment and perseverance of all Christian churches and Pastors to accomplish the work of the Kingdom of God during these challenging times.

WHO:   MT. CALVARY’S CONGREGATION PRAYING AS ONE.

WHAT:    Praying intentionally, the 24th of each month as a congregation (Church Family) using Pastor’s burden list, prayer list from website, and own personal list.

WHEN:   All throughout the waking hours, day/night.

WHERE:   In any place of choice.

WHY:    We should always pray and not faint.

HOW:    Silent or out loud as the situation allows:

We will have dedicated a scripture for each month to help us center around prayer.  Make sure to check back on our website for it and a list of items to pray about.  The list will be updated throughout the year.  Although some of the items on the list will be consistent, we are confident of the Holy Spirit’s stirring in each of our lives to direct us in how or what specifically to pray about during any given month.
